Mortgage Math — Privacy Policy

Mortgage Math is designed so that your financial information never leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Mortgage Math has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter — income, debts, savings, home prices, saved calculations — is stored only in the app on your phone. Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no servers that receive it and no ability to see it.

Network requests the app makes

Some features look up public information over the internet. These requests do not include your personal or financial details:

• Listing Analyzer — may fetch a property listing page you pasted, search the public web for that property's address, and verify the address with the US Census Bureau's public geocoder. Only the address or link you chose to analyze is sent.
• Find Lenders — downloads public lender directories, including institution records published by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. No information about you is sent.

These third-party services (for example redfin.com, duckduckgo.com, census.gov, cfpb.gov) receive standard technical information inherent to any web request, such as an IP address, subject to their own privacy policies.

Children

Mortgage Math is a general-audience financial calculator and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Not financial advice

Mortgage Math provides educational estimates based on published guidelines and public data. It is not a lender, broker, or financial advisor, and its results are not a loan offer or approval.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
